Most of us have our hands full living our lives, and only occasionally do we find the time to jot down our memories. These notes are all I have to remember the last five years of my life during which my husband served as Houston’s mayor.

What happens when a loved one accepts a task or a job that requires more time than any single person is able to give? Do you and your spouse approach everything as a team? Or do you try to set some boundaries? If not, do you just do the best you can? Has your support of your spouse, relative or friend led you to your own passion?
